Community Links is...

The goal of Community Links is to “link” families with everyday community learning opportunities…those places, in which all children can grow, learn and have positive experiences.

Community Links staff locates and compiles information about everyday community resources and learning opportunities, and activities for young children in Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry counties.  The information is contained in a searchable database and allows a map to be generated, if available.

Community Links is based on the practice of “community mapping”. Community mapping is a process for identifying, cataloging, and informing parents, practitioners and other community members about the types of community resources and learning opportunities available in a target neighborhood, community, city, or county.
